We here at Cleft Music think Carey Kotsionis Landry is the best vocalist in Nashville. Really. She can also a write a song that will charm your pants off or break your heart. Paired with husband, Adam Landry, an insanely accomplished guitarist as well as a keen eared producer (Playground Sound), they are a dynamo of a team! They currently operate as The Sways, a bluesy soul driven concoction of pop and rock. Cleft Music first became acquainted with the duo some years ago when they were a more traditional act, dabbling in ragtime, blues and a classic country sound. Kotsionis also backed country rocker, Bobby Bare Jr. during this time while Cleft producer, Loney John Hutchins served on keys. The two eventually collaborated on numerous recordings of which a handful were released on The Magic Cowboy Boots ep, exclusively through Cleft Music. Listen.
